Carboxytherapy may be used to treat Stretchmarks (striae). The procedure required monthly treatments. Injections are made in the dermis layer, all along the mark.  Each injection is 2 cm spaced. The mark should blow (popcorn effect). An average of 5 to 10 sessions should be necessary to reach optimal results.

The injection time of from 60 to 90 sec. The operator should see the gas spreading in a disk of 10~12 cm (diameter). The skin takes a crepe paper appearance.
